On Saturday, January 11th, 2025, CAES will host the Latin Checkpoint A Item Writing Workshop from 9am to 3pm, with a 1 hour lunch break. For those who wish to join us in person, we will meet at Shenendehowa CSD’s Center for Innovative Learning at High School West in Clifton Park. We will also run it as a Zoom webinar. David Pellegrino has agreed to help us.

At the November 5th NYSED webinar, there was interest in creating a repository for interpersonal speaking tasks.  The Classical Association of the Empire State plans to create a repository of questions, but we need your help! We would also like to extend that to any of the new types of questions on the examination, including presentational writing and interpretive listening. If this is successful, we would also consider creating adapted passages together at a later date.
