I’m writing to let CAES know that the videotaped scenes from the 2012 NEH Summer Institute on Roman comedy (held at UNC Chapel Hill) are now on-line:

We have twenty altogether, of which five are in Latin (& they are superb). I thought that CAES members and their students might enjoy checking them out.
The NEH is very eager to see these scenes be useful on a very wide scale; so are my co-director and I–that was the primary purpose of the Institute. We’re really hoping that these videos can be used in high school Latin classes and events. If you have any suggestions about where I might send this information, I’d be grateful.
